Man dies after ATV rollover crash in Lincoln County | ksdk.com

AUBURN, Mo. — A man was killed after being thrown from his ATV and then hit by a car early Wednesday morning in Lincoln County.

At about 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, a 33-year-old man from Troy was driving a 2024 Polaris ATV west on Highway B near U.S. Route 61 in Auburn, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

When he braked abruptly, the ATV rolled over, and he was ejected from the vehicle. The man was then struck by a 2003 Honda Accord, driven by a 54-year-old O'Fallon man, that was going east on Highway B, according to MSHP.

The ATV's driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to MSHP.
